Hello from beautiful San Diego! If you are a tennis player or are just thinking about becoming one – consider playing at the historic Balboa Tennis Club. Possibly America's finest public tennis facility, the Balboa Tennis Club boasts 25 hard courts located in Balboa Park.

Easy to find (click here for map) and located in the heart of San Diego, our friendly staff and outgoing members make playing here a great choice for both visitors and San Diego natives alike. Nineteen of our courts are lighted for nighttime play, and our challenge court means you'll always find a game.

Not only is the Balboa Tennis Club the site for many prestigious tournaments throughout the year, but we also take pride in our many social players and the ease with which new players become a part of the fun here. We currently have over 1,400 members, and are visited by approximately 6,000 day-pass visitors each year. As a nonprofit organization we are dedicated to offering the finest facilities at an affordable price to help foster and develop the great game of tennis here in San Diego.
